The hygiene package that changes your smile: cleansing, consultation and top-quality care all in one

Everything you need for a healthy mouth - in one package

Regular professional oral hygiene is more than just "smoothing" tartar. It is the foundation of healthy gums, fresh breath and long-term tooth preservation. At our practice, we take it seriously - but in a pleasant way.

We offer a comprehensive oral hygiene package including:

  • Dental check-up

  • Advanced ultrasonic cleaning

  • Sandblasting with an advanced abrasive system

  • Advice on oral hygiene products

  • Option to join a 5-year maintenance programme with automatic reminders

1. First review - the foundation for all subsequent steps

The first check-up is the starting point, where we assess your current oral health and find out what your teeth and gums need. It takes place in a relaxed environment, with no rushing and no unnecessary stress.

What the first check includes:

1. Interview and medical history
First, let's talk. We want to know about your oral hygiene, past problems, sensitivities, medications, general health and habits (e.g. smoking, diet). It is important to understand your daily situation - so that we can give realistic, not theoretical advice.

2. Clinical examination of teeth and gums
We examine all teeth, the condition of the gums, the presence of plaque, pigment and tartar. We look for any signs of inflammation, bleeding, pockets or incipient caries. If more serious problems are observed, we suggest further diagnostics or separate treatment.

3. Risk assessment
Everyone has a different level of risk for oral diseases. A check-up helps us to determine how often you need professional cleaning, which products are most suitable and how intensive home cleaning should be.

4. Cleaning and consultation plan
The review will help us decide which tools to use for cleaning (ultrasonic tip, blasting, polishing) and which tools are recommended for home use. There is no one-size-fits-all solution - so everyone receives their own personal approach.

This review is not a mere formality. It is professional and targeted treatment to avoid unforeseen complications.
The approach is friendly, understanding and non-moralising - we don't look for blame, but for solutions.

If you want to maintain a healthy mouth in the long term, the first check-up is the best place to start.

2. Advanced ultrasonic tartar cleaning

Piezoelectric ultrasonic cleaners work by high-frequency vibrations transmitted to the tip of the instrument. These vibrations allow effective removal of tartar and soft plaque, while being gentle on tooth enamel and gums.

Compared to some other ultrasound systems using magnetostrictive technology, piezoelectric systems offer:

  • More precise operation thanks to linear vibrations.

  • Less heat during operation, increasing patient comfort.

  • Quieter operation, which reduces stress during the procedure.

Most patients say the procedure is more comfortable and much less sensitive than with older devices. It is no longer a "scraping of the teeth", but a controlled and effective cleaning with feeling.

3. Blasting with an advanced abrasive system - to remove tooth discolouration

Classic sandblasters often use coarse dust to bring the deposits down, but they also send your tongue and the sky into a mini-storm.

Our blast furnace is another song. It is one of the most advanced toothblasting systems. It uses a very fine powder that does not damage tooth enamel and does not irritate the gums.

It is particularly suitable for patients with sensitive teeth, chronic gingivitis or increased pigment build-up.

Unlike conventional sandblasters, the jet is more even, more precise and significantly more pleasant. Patients tolerate the blasting well and the effect is visible immediately.

The system also allows gentle but very precise cleaning under the gum margin, where bacteria that cause inflammation and periodontal disease often build up.

This is done using a special subgingival nozzle that directs a stream of fine particles and air directly into the dental pockets.

What does this mean in practice?
- The particles are so fine that they do not damage tissue
- The jet is powerful enough to remove soft plaque and bacterial biofilm
- At the same time, the procedure is almost painless for the patient and very precise
- It works where a conventional brush and floss can no longer reach

The sandblaster thus enables preventive and maintenance care, even in the case of initial periodontal disease, after surgery or with implants.

This system cleans not only what is visible, but also what lies beneath the surface - where gum health really begins to decay.

4. Advice on oral hygiene products

Individual advice - because one size does not fit all.

Oral hygiene is not the same for everyone. Some people have tight spaces between their teeth, others have orthodontic braces, others struggle with sensitive gums or bleeding. That's why the advice in our package is tailored to the individual.

After examining the condition of the teeth, gums and habits, we recommend the right appliances for each patient. We take into account:
- the condition of the gums
- the amount and type of plaque
- the size of the spaces between the teeth
- the presence of implants, bridges, crowns or orthodontic appliances
- manual dexterity and habits

Tools to be included in the personal plan:
  • Soft toothbrushes (manual or electric)
We recommend soft or ultrasoft toothbrushes, as they do not damage the gums and are good at removing soft plaque. In certain cases, we recommend electric brushes with pressure sensing and timer.

  • Interdental brushes
Choose from different sizes (e.g. CURAPROX, TePe) depending on the width of the interdental space. The correct size is crucial - too small does not clean well, too large can damage the gum.

  • Dental floss
Especially recommended for close contacts between teeth where the toothbrush cannot get through. For beginners, we recommend waxed or specially shaped flossers, which are easier to use.

  • Solo brushes
Ideal for cleaning around implants, orthodontic wires or hard-to-reach areas. They can be used to clean very precisely along the gum margins.

  • Alcohol-free mouthwashes
We only use them when they are really needed - for example for inflammation or after surgery. We do not advise long-term use without a reason.

  • Tongue cleaners
Often overlooked, but important for reducing bad breath and the amount of bacteria in your mouth.

The aim of counselling is to change habits in the long term

Do not shower the patient with products. It is important that he understands why and how to use something.
Therefore, we show the correct technique, explain the frequency of use and answer questions. If necessary, we provide written instructions or a recommendation for home use.

So oral hygiene doesn't stop with us - it becomes part of your daily routine, tailored to your needs.

5. Five-year maintenance programme

If you want, you can join our programme and let us take care of it for you. Where we let you know when it's time for a return visit - automatically, without calendars on the fridge. Each year we repeat the exercise and complete all the steps listed above. That's how your mouth will stay healthy.
