Home/Replacing amalgam fillings

Replacement of amalgam fillings

Amalgam (silver) fillings used to be widely used for their durability, but today they are increasingly being replaced by aesthetic, white materials.

Composite fillings are more natural-looking, chemically bond to the tooth and allow more precise restoration of the damaged area.

Replacement is recommended when the old filling is damaged, leaking or if you want a more aesthetic look.

The procedure is safe and supervised - we remove the amalgam, clean the tooth and restore it with a material that blends in with the natural structure.
